How is public-holiday and rest-day overtime calculated?
At Employment Act 1955 multipliers, automatically. The public holiday calendar is kept per state, not one national list, so an outlet in Penang and one in Selangor each follow their own gazetted days, and the hours flow into payroll without re-keying.
Do outlet staff need to install anything on their phones?
No. Clock-in is a kiosk PIN on a shared device at the counter, so there is no app to install and no card reader to buy. Employee self-service still lets each person see their own payslips and leave balance, scoped strictly to their own record.
What does it cost for a business with several outlets?
