What is this module for?
This module is based on the competency units of Malaysia's National Occupational Skills Standard (NOSS). It is not an SKM, DKM or DLKM, which only a JPK-accredited centre awards. The portfolio supports a JPK PPT application or training provider assessment but does not claim to meet the current PPT format.
How do I check trainee eligibility?
- Open Eligibility.
- Choose the trainee and Level 4 or Level 5.
- Open each competency unit row and complete every listed evidence gap. Assessor-only criteria need a competent sign-off, and sampled sign-offs need verifier review.
How do I draft and preview a certificate?
- Open Certificates and choose Create draft.
- Choose one competency unit or the whole level.
- Open the draft row to preview or download the PDF. Drafts show a DRAFT watermark and no verification QR or code.
How do I issue a certificate with consent?
- Open an eligible draft and choose Issue.
- Confirm the trainee consents to their name being published on the verification page. If you are the assessor, attest that you obtained that consent.
- Orbit sends the holder name, units, assessor name, assessment date, consent, and client reference to the Orbit certificate server. Nothing from the books is sent.
How do I download or revoke a certificate?
- Open an issued row to download its PDF.
- Choose Revoke only when needed, record the reason, then confirm.
How do I export a trainee portfolio?
- Open Portfolio and choose a trainee and level.
- Export PDF or PDF and evidence ZIP. The export contains only that trainee’s matched evidence and explicitly linked files, not the full ledger.
What this does to your books
This module posts nothing to the accounts. Certificates and portfolio exports are training records.
