What is Point of Sale for?
Point of Sale is the till for cash sales. Unlike an invoice, it does not create a debt because the customer pays on the spot. It records the sale and the cash in one go, and it posts both the income and the cost of the goods sold automatically. Do not record the takings again in Cash In & Out, or your income is counted twice.
