What is the Payslips module for?
This screen stores payslips you receive from your employer. It helps you keep a searchable record of gross pay, EPF, SOCSO, EIS, and PCB for tax time. It is not for paying staff. If you are paying a worker, use the Payroll module instead.
How do I upload a payslip?
- Press Upload payslip and choose the PDF or photo.
- Wait for the AI to finish reading the figures.
- Check the Month field in YYYY-MM format.
- Verify Gross salary, EPF (employee), EPF (employer), SOCSO, EIS, Tax (PCB) and Net pay against the paper. A zero means the AI could not find that figure, so check again.
- Fix any errors by typing over the AI values.
- Press Save to attach the file and store the record.
How do I key in a payslip by hand?
- Press Add manually.
- Set the Month using the month picker.
- Type the Employer name if you want to label it.
- Enter Gross salary, deductions, and Net pay in RM.
- Check that gross minus deductions equals net pay.
- Press Save to store the record without a file.
How do I view my year to date totals?
- Look at the four cards above the table for the current calendar year.
- Check Gross to date for total pay before deductions.
- Check Net to date for money that reached your bank.
- Check EPF to date which includes both your and your employer's contributions.
- Check Tax to date to compare PCB deducted with your actual tax liability.
How do I correct or remove a payslip?
- Find the row in the All payslips table.
- Press the pencil icon to edit details and press Save.
- Press the red bin icon to delete the record and its file.
- Note that there is no undo function for deletions.
