What is Savings Goals for?
This module is for earmarking money for specific purposes like a house deposit or emergency fund. It turns vague intentions into measurable targets. The Current amount is a hand-kept tally, meaning you must update it manually. It does not move money or affect your financial statements.
How do I create a savings goal?
- Press Add goal.
- Type the Goal name, for example Emergency fund.
- Type the Target amount in RM. It must be more than zero.
- Type the Current amount, which is how much you have already set aside.
- Set the Target date if you have one.
- Press Save.
How do I update my saved amount?
- Press the pencil icon on the goal card.
- Change the Current amount to the real total you now hold.
- Type the total you have saved, not the amount you just added.
- Press Save.
- If the money actually moved between accounts, also record it in Cash In & Out. Updating the goal alone does not touch your cash book.
How does the pace badge work?
The badge appears only if you set a target date. It compares your Current amount to a straight-line pace from the creation date to the target date. On pace means you are at or above the required figure. Behind pace means you are below it. The run starts when you create the goal.
How do I start a challenge?
- Scroll to Challenges, under your goals.
- Press Save RM500 in 30 days or No-spend week.
- A card appears with its own bar.
- Understand it counts all money in minus money out from your cash book.
How do I remove a goal?
- Press the red bin icon on the goal card.
- The card disappears immediately. There is no confirmation step, so be sure before you press.
