What is the Activity Log for?
It is the app's memory of meaningful actions. It creates an audit trail that shows exactly what changed, who changed it, and when. This helps you trust your books and answer questions from auditors or partners. It is found in the avatar menu, not the sidebar, because you consult it when a question arises.
How do I find who changed a record?
- Open the avatar menu in the top bar and choose Activity Log.
- Type into the search box using an action name, person, or detail like an invoice number.
- Read the row to see the timestamp, Action, By, and Details.
- For edits, read the arrows in Details. The struck-through value is the old value, and the green value is the new one.
- Money is shown in ringgit, for example RM 10.00 to RM 25.00.
- Local agent actions show Agent (client name) in the By column.
How do I filter the log by person or date?
- Use the user picker to select one person or leave it on All users.
- Set the From and To dates. Both are inclusive, and the To date covers the whole day.
- Note that filters apply before rows are fetched, so you see the true set for that period.
- Search within the results if you still have too many rows.
How do I export the log for an auditor?
- Set the filters first to cover the exact period being asked about.
- Press Export CSV for a spreadsheet you can sort and comment on.
- Press Export PDF for a document to attach to an audit file or email.
- Both exports cover the same filtered scope you are currently viewing.
What if a figure looks wrong?
- Note the document number, customer, or amount you doubt.
- Search the log and read rows in date order, with the oldest at the bottom.
- If you find an incorrect edit, correct it on its own screen with a new entry.
- If the log shows System as the person, an automation did it. Check the Automation Center.
