What is the Reports module for?
Reports combines calculated statements with Month-end, Branch consolidation, and the Monthly Management Report. It distinguishes between Profit and Loss, which covers a period, and Balance Sheet, which describes a moment. Most figures are calculated from records made elsewhere, with reviewed adjustments and inter-branch transfers as deliberate exceptions.
How do I use the month-end, branch and management report workspaces?
- Choose Month-end to clear checks, review account lines before any adjustment, and save the review trail.
- Choose Branches to add branches, track collection, and review inter-branch transfers before posting.
- Choose Management report, justify every flagged movement, then prepare and export the Monthly Management Report.
How do I clear month-end exceptions?
- Under Month-end controls, inspect every issued invoice listed under Sales taken up.
- Review the aged-bucket general provision, including its account lines and effect, before posting it.
- Review aged AP and AR separately, transfer only an eligible creditor balance to Unclaimed Moneys, and enter the lodgement reference when ready. Debtor balances stay review-only.
How do I open the right financial statement?
- Under Financial statements, press the card you need, such as Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, Trial Balance, or Cash Flow.
- Press General Ledger to see the individual postings behind any account.
- Press Notes for breakdowns behind summary lines, or Cash Summary for a plain cash in and out view.
How do I read the aging tables?
- Read Receivables aging on the left for money customers owe you, split by how long it has been outstanding.
- Read Payables aging on the right for money you owe suppliers.
- Press Show by party to open the per customer or per supplier breakdown for follow-up calls.
How do I check the control account reconciliation?
- Scroll to Control account reconciliation and read General ledger against Sub-ledger for Trade Debtors and Creditors.
- Read the Variance column and badge, where Reconciled means the two agree and Variance in red means they do not.
- Read the note under the table before treating a variance as a bug, as it may identify an exception needing review.
