Orbit POS

Gaming and internet cafes

A gaming cafe POS for stations, passes and wallets.

Time on every station, prepaid wallets and passes, and snacks on the same bill.

How does a gaming cafe charge for stations with Orbit POS?

Each station is a resource with its own clock, billed by the hour or in fixed blocks, or sold as a pass. Customers can top up a prepaid wallet and spend it later, which Orbit POS records as money held for them rather than as a sale, and snacks and drinks go on the same bill.

What a gaming cafe gets

Time on every station, prepaid wallets and passes, and snacks on the same bill.

  • Station timers

Hourly, block, fixed slot or pass, with overtime rules and amber warnings before time runs out.

  • Prepaid wallets

Top-ups are a liability, not a sale; spending them rings a real sale paid from the wallet.

  • Passes and punch cards

Sell a pass or a ten-visit card, and see what each customer still holds.

  • Snacks and drinks

Sold from the same till, on the same bill as the station time.

Common questions

Are wallet top-ups counted as sales?

No. A top-up is money you hold for the customer, so it stays out of today's takings until it is spent.

Can a wallet go negative?

No. Orbit POS checks the balance at the till before the sale is written.

Can I sell timed passes?

Yes. A pass is bought, not metered, and can be sold alongside hourly and block rates.

Does it need the internet to run timers?

No. Clocks and bills run on the shop's own computer.
