1. The licence
Orbit POS is licensed, not sold. One licence authorises one shop to use the edition it names, plus any modules bought on top of it. Licences are non-transferable unless we agree in writing.
The licence is verified on your computer. A shop with no licence, or a licence that cannot be read, can still sell, print receipts and move stock; modules outside the core till pause until a valid key is entered.
2. The trial
A new install runs for 30 days without a key. Entering a key later keeps all the data created during the trial.
3. Prices and payment
Prices are shown in Ringgit Malaysia on the editions page and charged at checkout through CHIP. The amount charged is the price shown for your edition at the time you pay.
4. Your data
Your shop's data stays on your computer and belongs to you. You are responsible for keeping your computer secure and your backups safe. The app takes automatic backups, but you should keep a copy somewhere other than the shop's computer.
5. Acceptable use
Do not share, resell or publish licence keys, or attempt to bypass licence checks.
6. Tax and compliance
Orbit POS helps you apply SST and record sales correctly, but you remain responsible for your tax registration, the tax codes you set and the returns you file. Our guides are general information, not tax advice.
7. Updates and support
We provide updates and email support for the version you bought. We may change features over time, but we will not remove the core till from a licensed shop.
8. Liability
To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for your licence, and we are not liable for indirect losses such as lost profits. Nothing here limits rights you have under Malaysian consumer law.
