From install to your first sale, in about ten minutes.
How do I set up Orbit POS?
Install Orbit POS on the counter computer, choose your kind of business so the right screens switch on, enter your licence key, add or import your products, connect your receipt printer, then open a shift and make a test sale. Waiter phones, kitchen screens and Orbit Finance sync can be added afterwards.
Install
Download the installer for Mac or Windows and open it on the counter computer.
Pick your business
Choose shop, cafe, snooker hall, bowling, karaoke, gaming or something else. You can combine them.
Enter your key
Paste the licence key from your email. No key yet? The trial runs 30 days.
Add products
Type them in or import a CSV, with a dry run that names any row it skips.
Connect the printer
Pick your 58mm or 80mm thermal printer and print a test receipt.
Open a shift and sell
Count the float, ring up a test sale, then close the shift to see the variance.
Then, when you are ready
Waiter phones
Open the waiter link on any phone on the shop wifi (Pro and above).
Kitchen and order screens
Name a screen in Settings and open its link on that screen.
Orbit Finance
Point both apps at the same exchange folder to send sales to your books.
Moving from Finance's till
Bring your catalogue, floor, members and history across once, with a preview first.
